You can easily restore the shine at home with a soft silver polishing cloth. The best way to slow tarnishing is to wear your pieces regularly — the natural oils in your skin actually help keep silver bright.

Sterling silver 925 is widely considered hypoallergenic and suitable for most skin types. A small number of people may be sensitive to trace metals in the alloy. If you have known metal sensitivities, we recommend starting with a simple piece and testing it first.

Sterling silver (925) is solid silver all the way through. Silver-plated jewellery is a base metal (like brass or copper) with a thin layer of silver on top. The plating wears off over time, revealing the base metal underneath. All Mili Essentials pieces are solid 925 sterling silver — not plated.

We recommend removing your jewellery before showering, swimming, or entering hot tubs. Chlorine, salt water, and soap can accelerate tarnishing and affect the finish over time. Perfume, hairspray, and body lotion should also be applied before putting your jewellery on.

Standard delivery within Australia typically takes 3–7 business days. We aim to dispatch orders within 1–2 business days of payment. You'll receive a tracking number once your order has been shipped.

We do not accept change-of-mind returns. All sales are final unless the item is faulty or significantly not as described. This is consistent with our rights under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Please read our Shopping Guide for the full policy.

If your item arrives damaged, broken, or significantly different from how it was described, please contact us within 7 days of delivery at info@miliessentials.com with photos. We will assess the item and offer a repair, replacement, or refund in line with Australian Consumer Law.

For hygiene and safety reasons, earrings cannot be returned for change of mind once the packaging has been opened. This is standard practice across the Australian jewellery industry. Earrings that are faulty or broken upon arrival are of course fully covered — please contact us immediately with photos.

Use a soft, lint-free silver polishing cloth and gently buff the surface. For a deeper clean, mix a small amount of mild dish soap with warm water, use a soft toothbrush to gently clean, then rinse thoroughly and dry completely with a soft cloth. Never use abrasive materials or harsh chemicals.

Store each piece separately in a small airtight zip-lock bag or a lined jewellery box to prevent scratching and slow down tarnishing. Keep jewellery away from direct sunlight, humidity, and heat. Our signature Mili Essentials packaging is perfect for storage.
